Peacock TV Show with Elizabeth Banks & Matthew Macfadyen Reveals Trailer and Release Date
Peacock has shared the teaser trailer and release date for its newest comedy series based on the short story by Manuel Gonzales. Titled The Miniature Wife, the show will be led by Emmy nominee Elizabeth Banks (30 Rock) and Golden Globe winner Matthew Macfadyen (Succession).
“The series is a dramedy examining the power (im)balances between spouses Lindy (Banks) and Les (Macfadyen) after a technological accident induces the ultimate relationship crisis,” reads the official synopsis.

When is the release date for Peacock’s The Miniature Wife series?
The Miniature Wife is a ten-episode comedy-drama set to start streaming on April 9, exclusive on Peacock. The cast also includes O-T Fagbenle, Zoe Lister-Jones, Sian Clifford, and Sofia Rosinsky, with recurring characters played by Ronny Chieng, Aasif Mandvi, Rong Fu, and Tricia Black.
The dramedy is created and executive-produced by showrunners Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner. In addition to leading the cast, Banks and Macfadyen are also executive producing alongside Michael Aguilar, Suzanne Heathcote, Michael Ellenberg, Lindsey Springer, and director Greg Mottola. It is a production by Media Res.
Banks most recently starred in the Prime Video thriller series The Better Sister with Jessica Biel. She will next be in the psychological thriller movie DreamQuil, which will have its world premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival this coming March. As for Macfadyen, the acclaimed actor’s most recent TV project was the Netflix miniseries Death by Lightning. Besides The Miniature Wife, he is also attached to lead the upcoming TV adaptation of John le Carré’s A Legacy of Spies novel series.
