Peter Criss Announces First Solo Album in 18 Years

Legendary Kiss drummer Peter Criss has officially announced an exciting new solo album, featuring an impressive lineup of notable collaborators in the music industry. This announcement comes as a thrilling surprise for fans and music enthusiasts alike.

Criss shared this exhilarating news through a brief video posted on the KissFAQ website, which fans can view below. In his announcement, he expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I have an announcement. I have my new rock and roll album for you, Kiss Army guys, coming out in the fall. I really hope you like it, man. And I wanna say God bless to each and every one of you.”

In addition, Kiss historian Julian Gill, who manages KissFAQ, provided further insights regarding Criss’ forthcoming LP. This information has heightened anticipation among fans.

“This is a hard rock kick-ass album, co-produced by Barry Pointer, who has a stellar track record working with artists like Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson, Fred Coury, Steve Stevens, and, of course, John 5,” he reported. “I had the privilege to listen to this album at Peter’s studio with him last night, and it was absolutely amazing to hear this new music. It was vibrant and powerful. I’m genuinely excited for its release, and I believe Kiss fans are really going to love this album. Peter’s drum sound is absolutely massive, and his vocals are powerful. Barry Pointer’s production is stunning, and Peter has an incredible group of musicians and background vocalists supporting him.”

Gill went on to highlight many of the talented guests who will appear on the album, including esteemed bassist Billy Sheehan, guitarist John 5, and renowned keyboardist Paul Shaffer, further enhancing the album’s appeal.
