Vera Wang has blonde ambition.

The famed designer debuted a drastic new hairstyle at the 2026 BAFTA Awards, showing up to the Royal Festival Hall in London on Feb. 22 with blonde hair.

Vera rocked platinum blonde hair with dark roots, which was a significant departure from her usual brunette locks. She paired the drastic new ‘do with a white ruched dress over which she donned a black bolero with exaggerated shoulders and long sleeves that covered her hands for an opera glove effect.

The 76-year-old finished off her look with her signature oversized black sunglasses as she posed on the red carpet at the star-studded awards show.

Vera’s BAFTAs appearance comes after she recently opened up about the secrets to her age-defying beauty.

“I always say to people I think I work really hard, and I think work is a great deterrent,” Vera told E! News at the 19th annual DKMS Gala in Oct. 2025. “It just keeps you occupied mentally, physically. It keeps you engaged. So I think work is really, really important.”
