PlayStation Plus Members, Claim Your Free Game in 24 Hours

PlayStation Plus has recently provided numerous excellent deals, including an expanded selection of games for its December 2025 Essential Games Catalog. However, as is typical with PS Plus offers, games frequently rotate in and out. Currently, a must-play title is about to leave the service — if you want to play it for free, you only have 24 hours left to claim it.

That’s correct — November’s PS Plus Essential games are departing after today, so if there’s a game you want, now is the time to claim it. Despite several games leaving, one title stands out as the clear favorite. Users on Reddit have recommended playing Stray before it departs. “DO NOT MISS STRAY” exclaimed user AurelienRzin in all caps. “Honestly didn’t expect it to be this good,” responded another user.

Since PS Plus releases its new monthly games on the first Tuesday of each month, today marks the final opportunity to grab these Essential games: Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. Therefore, if you’re looking to add the November 2025 games to your library, you need to act quickly.

While WRC 24 and TABS are both enjoyable titles, Stray is undoubtedly the standout from the past month. This dystopian sci-fi game allows players to explore a cyberpunk world as a stray cat while navigating around bug-like zurks and solving puzzles. The gameplay is engaging on its own, but the story can be both heartbreaking and triumphant, resonating with many players.

You Really Don’t Want To Miss Stray

Upon its release, Stray generated significant buzz. Not only because its main character is an adorable cat (which certainly helps), but also due to its impressive world-building and storytelling. Whether you are a cat lover or eager to explore a well-crafted cyberpunk environment, Stray has something for everyone.

This game is also ideal for fans of Flow, the recent Oscar-winning animated film. Similarly, if you’re seeking a more intense version of Little Kitty, Big City, then Stray might be perfect for you. After all, who wouldn’t enjoy playing through an entire video game as a cat?

Fortunately, it’s still available for free on PlayStation Plus, but you’ll need to act fast if you wish to add it to your library through that service. December 2 will usher in a new month of releases.
