With just a month to go before the premiere of its highly anticipated second season, the post-apocalyptic video game adaptation Fallout is currently the number one show on Prime Video. A highly acclaimed sci-fi drama, the series is easily one of the most popular titles on the streaming service, so this pre-season surge isn’t exactly surprising. But if you’re looking for something a little different, the service’s library has a lot of great picks for you to choose from, including epic dramas, action comedies, and more. So, without further ado, here’s a look at three great shows that we think you should binge this week.

‘King & Conqueror’ (2025)
Created by Michael Robert Johnson, King & Conqueror is an eight-part epic historical drama starring James Norton and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Set in 11th-century England, the film presents a fictionalized account of the conquest of Normandy, exploring the conflict between Harold Godwinson (Norton) and William, Duke of Normandy (Coster-Waldau), who start as allies but end up fighting for control of the throne. The series also stars Emily Beecham, Clémence Poésy, Geoff Bell, Clare Holman, Ingvar Sigurdsson, Elliot Cowan, Eddie Marsan, and more.
King & Conqueror is a highly enjoyable period drama for anyone who isn’t a stickler for historical accuracy, of which the show has practically none. But though it takes license with historical facts, the series is ambitious and entertaining, with a polished production and a tightly written dramatic narrative. Its melodramatic story is effectively brought to life by the stellar performances of its ensemble cast, especially its two evenly-matched leads.

‘Teen Wolf’ (2011 – 2017)
An iconic supernatural teen drama series, Teen Wolf was developed by Jeff Davis and stars Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, the titular teenage werewolf. The show primarily follows Scott’s struggle to balance a normal high school life with his new condition while protecting his California town from various supernatural threats. Besides Posey, the series also stars Crystal Reed, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, Colton Haynes, and more in key roles.
A dramatic reboot of the eponymous 1985 film, Teen Wolf premiered on MTV in 2011 and quickly became one of the most popular shows on TV, earning praise from critics and fans alike. Presenting a thoroughly engaging combination of high school drama and supernatural worldbuilding, the series takes viewers on an immersive journey alongside a great cast of charismatic, endearing characters. Though it has faced some criticism for its handling of LGBTQ+ characters and themes, the series still enjoys a strong following today, and a feature film continuing the story, imaginatively titled Teen Wolf: The Movie, was released on Paramount+ in January 2023.

‘Lethal Weapon’ (2016 – 2019)
A TV reboot of Shane Black’s film franchise, Lethal Weapon is a buddy cop action comedy-drama show developed by Matt Miller. Clayne Crawford and Damon Wayans star as the iconic characters Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh, and the show follows their transformation from mismatched partners to an effective crime-fighting duo. Crawford was fired from the show during the second season, leading to Seann William Scott being hired as a new main character, Wesley Cole, for the third and final season.
The Lethal Weapon TV show’s troubled production may have overshadowed the series itself, but it is a pretty fun buddy cop show, even if it isn’t quite as enjoyable as the original movies. The show’s first season earned mixed reviews, but its critical reception showed significant improvement in later seasons, and the second season in particular is perfect for police procedural fans. It may be short-lived and underrated, but Lethal Weapon is still a great watch for anyone who loves old-school TV cop shows.
