Princess Charlotte is stepping into some very big shoes.
The 10-year-old daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton joined her parents—along with siblings Prince George, 12, and Prince Louis, 7—for the Together At Christmas Carol Service at London’s Westminster Abbey on December 5, where she wore an outfit that evoked her late grandmother Princess Diana.
During the royal outing, Charlotte wore a velvet long-sleeve navy blue dress with a white collar, paired with navy tights and dark flats. The ensemble closely resembled a similar outfit that Diana—who passed away in 1997—wore to a dinner at Royal Festival Hall in December 1981.
The event, which will air in the U.K. on Christmas Eve, was also attended by several members of the royal family including Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, as well as Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall. Kate’s parents, Michael Middleton and Carole Middleton, were also present, along with her brother James Middleton and his wife Alizée Thevenet.
