Bobby announced his new HGTV show Junk or Jackpot? the day after it was announced that Queer Eye would be ending. According to Bobby, the timing of the announcement was a complete coincidence, but that didn’t stop Karamo Brown from calling him out for the timing.
While speaking to People, Bobby says that Karamo wasn’t happy with his announcement.

“I have to say, I swear on my mother’s life, my show announcement date was set. No, this was planned. Show announcements don’t happen on a whim,” Bobby told the publication of the announcement for his new show.
This didn’t stop Karamo from calling Bobby out for announcing the new show so soon after Queer Eye‘s end, he said.
Bobby told People, “Even Karamo was like, ‘Girl, the day after?’ I’m like, ‘No, no, no. I promise you it was already planned.”
He went on to say that it wasn’t just his costar that was unhappy with the timing.
“Some people were like, ‘Couldn’t you have waited?’ And I’m like, ‘Well, yes, but no,’” Bobby told the publication. “I mean, [Netflix] could have easily given me a heads-up on when that was going to be announced. I mean, I was on the show for [eight] seasons, but yeah, it’s fine.”
