Ray J states he felt afraid when Princess Love‘s cousin and her husband arrived at his house demanding to take his children … but, despite holding a gun, he asserts he never pointed it at anyone.
The singer informs TMZ … he retreated to his private bedroom to tell the live stream he was on that nobody would take his kids while they were intoxicated — as he claims Princess Love and others were at that moment.
He expresses discomfort with having two people — excluding Princess Love, who resides in her own house down the street — in his private space near his child … describing them as aggressive and belligerent. Ray J mentions that the three were invited guests to prepare Thanksgiving dinner, but he was not pleased with the extended family being in the bedroom area.
Ray J alleges Love’s cousin and her husband then entered Ray’s room … and, while Ray acknowledges he was holding a gun, he insists he never intended to shoot anyone.
PL took their daughter, Melody, he claims … before her cousin attempted to grab his son … while he alleges her husband tackled him. Ray J states that 20 police officers arrived in response to the incident, guns drawn … which further traumatized his two children.
However, Ray J tells us he “would never point a gun at anybody including Princess Love.” Despite the tension, Ray J adds he will always love Princess Love … although they’ve only communicated via text since the incident occurred.
Remember … the tension escalated on a live stream — during which Ray J appeared to load his gun. He could be heard shouting in the video as well, telling Princess’ cousin’s husband, “I’ll shoot the f*** out of you.”
He also warned him, “I’ll kill you,” followed by “Get out of my house before I shoot you right now. I got a gun on me.” Thus, while Ray J claims he never intended to harm anyone, his actions suggested otherwise.
Ray J was booked on a charge of making a criminal threat — not necessarily for pointing a gun at anyone, which again he asserts he’d never do. He was released on $50K bail. Love criticized Ray J … calling him “more than a drunk” and alleging that the last time the kids were around him, they found him naked in bed with a woman.
We’ve reached out to Princess Love regarding Ray J’s account of events … so far, no response has been received.
