Ray J Claims Kardashians Promoted False Narrative For Years

According to TMZ, Ray asserts that the 2003 NSFW tape with Kim was entirely consensual and “wasn’t leaked against [her] will.” He states that he and Kim “consensually shot a sex tape in 2003, and then in 2006 they discussed releasing it,” adding that Kim “insisted Kris be in charge of the release and commercial exploitation of the film.” Ray’s attorney, Howard King, claims the Kardashians “spent two decades promoting the false narrative that the sex tape was leaked against her will.”

Accusations, Settlements, And Millions

The documents also allege that on ‘The Kardashians,’ Kim, Kris, and Ye falsely accused Ray of sexual assault, releasing revenge porn, and extortion. Ray claims he initially pursued legal action, and ultimately, Kim, Kris, and their production company settled with him for $6 million. Now, Ray asserts he is entitled to $1 million in damages under that agreement, as it prohibited them from discussing the tape, which the Kardashians allegedly violated. The singer is reportedly seeking $1 million in damages.

This isn’t the first time Ray J has targeted them. Back in May 2025, he began making public allegations against Kim and Kris, even suggesting they could face RICO charges. By late September, he was reaffirming his claims, hinting at a “crazy” case, mentioning “feds…coming,” and comparing it to Diddy’s situation — indicating he has been pursuing this narrative for months.

Then in October, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian filed a defamation lawsuit against Ray, according to The Shade Room.

“After realizing he is losing the [defamation] case and losing his way, this disjointed rambling distraction is not intimidating anyone. Ray J will lose this frivolous case as well,” the Kardashians’ lawyer, Alex Spiro, reportedly stated in response to Ray’s latest legal action.
