Ready or Not 2 Release Date Updated for Samara Weaving Film

The release date of Ready or Not 2 has changed once more, with the upcoming horror movie sequel featuring Samara Weaving receiving a new release date.

What is the new release date for Ready or Not 2?

The new release date for Ready or Not 2 is March 20, 2026. This update is positive news for fans, as the film now moves up a week from its previous date of March 27, 2026, which was itself a change from the originally announced release date of April 10, 2026.

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is a sequel to the 2019 film Ready or Not. The movie sees Weaving reprising her role as Grace and features an impressive ensemble cast that includes Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, Nadeem Umar-Khitab, David Cronenberg, and Elijah Wood.

“Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Samara Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game — and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) at her side,” reads the film’s official synopsis. Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne, and whoever wins rules it all.”

The first Ready or Not was released in 2019 and starred Weaving, Adam Brody, Mark O’Brien, Elsye Levesque, Nicky Guadagni, Henry Czerny, and Andie MacDowell. The film followed the story of a young bride (Weaving) who ends up being hunted by her spouse’s wealthy family on their wedding night as part of a ritual to appease the Devil.
