The next movie by M. Night Shyamalan, Remain, has been delayed, with its release date pushed back for the film starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

The new release date for Remain is set for February 5, 2027, moving the film’s release back by about four months. It was originally scheduled to premiere on October 23, 2026.
Currently, little information is available about this upcoming project. It has been described as a “supernatural romantic thriller” based on an original story co-created by Shyamalan and author Nicholas Sparks, known for works like The Notebook, Dear John, and The Last Song, many of which have been adapted into films.
