Restraining Orders Dropped by Halle Bailey & DDG, Custody Deal Reached


Halle Bailey and DDG have mutually decided to withdraw the domestic violence restraining orders (DVRO) they had against each other. They have also reached a temporary custody agreement for their son Halo. Signed documents obtained by The Shade Room indicate that both parties are now aligned on plans for the upcoming months.

As previously reported by The Shade Room, Halle filed a DVRO on May 13, 2025, while DDG filed his on June 3, 2025. Earlier this month, DDG addressed the issues in their relationship in his song ’17 More Years.’ In the track, the rapper expressed a desire for normalcy and encouraged Bailey to drop the court case. It seems DDG’s wish has come true!

Details About The Next 120 Days Of Halo’s Custody

The temporary custody agreement will be implemented in phases. For the first 60 days, DDG will have physical custody of Halo every Wednesday from morning until evening. He will also have Halo on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. Halle will have Halo at all other times. For the subsequent 60 days, DDG will be permitted to have his son overnight on certain days. He will also have Halo from Wednesday to Thursday and every Saturday. Regarding the holiday schedule, Halo will spend Halloween and Father’s Day with his dad. Halle will have him for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day. Both parents will share time with him on Christmas Day and his birthday.

What Else To Know About Halle & DDG’s Agreement

The agreement stipulates that neither Halle Bailey nor DDG can post pictures of Halo or any information regarding him on social media. They must also ensure that their families adhere to this order. Additionally, they have agreed not to speak negatively about each other publicly or in front of Halo. Therefore, fans likely won’t see any adorable clips of Halo anytime soon. The stars’ next court date is scheduled for November 5.
