Showtime has officially revealed the highly anticipated release date for Dexter: Resurrection, the latest installment in the critically acclaimed crime drama franchise. Alongside this exciting announcement, the first teaser trailer has been released, giving fans a thrilling glimpse at Michael C. Hall reprising his iconic role as the notorious serial killer, Dexter Morgan.
The new series acts as a direct continuation of Dexter: New Blood, set just weeks after Dexter Morgan (played by Hall) suffers a gunshot wound inflicted by his own son. As he awakens from a coma, he discovers that his son, Harrison, has mysteriously disappeared. The much-anticipated Dexter: Resurrection is set to begin streaming on July 11, 2025, exclusively on Paramount+ featuring Showtime. Joining Hall in this thrilling sequel is an impressive ensemble cast that includes Uma Thurman as Charley, Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater, Krysten Ritter as Mia Lapierre, Neil Patrick Harris as Lowell, Eric Stonestreet as Al, David Dastmalchian as Gareth, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva, and Emilia Suárez as Elsa Rivera.
This gripping crime drama is brought to life by executive producer Clyde Phillips, with Marcos Siega directing and producing the series.
