Details From The Crime Scene

As previously mentioned, Rob and Michele Singer Reiner were found dead at their home in Los Angeles on Sunday. Investigators believe they suffered stab wounds, as reported by a law enforcement official to AP.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a medical aid request shortly after 3:30 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman deceased inside. Reiner celebrated his 78th birthday in March. Detectives from the Robbery Homicide Division are investigating an “apparent homicide” at Reiner’s residence, according to Capt. Mike Bland of the LAPD.

Homicides are uncommon in Brentwood; however, this scene is located about a mile from where O.J. Simpson’s wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman were murdered in 1994.
