Rosé performs at an intimate evening hosted by the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles!
On Thursday night (December 4), the interactive museum invited 3x 2026 Grammy nominee Rosé for a special live performance and a conversation about her Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop/Duo Group Performance-nominated hit “APT.,” exploring her creative process and her solo debut album.

A global icon as both a solo artist and member of Blackpink, Rosé has achieved numerous industry milestones. Her debut studio album Rosie and her collaboration with Bruno Mars, “APT.,” marked the highest-charting Billboard 200 debut and the highest-charting Hot 100 and US Top 40 radio hit by a female Korean artist.
“APT.” also won Song of the Year at the 2025 MTV VMAs and became the fastest music video by a lead female artist to surpass 2 billion YouTube views, ranking fourth overall.
In an interview with Variety regarding the success of her song, the 28-year-old artist stated, “It feels surreal, because the song carries so much of my culture. It proves to me that even if I can stay true to my authentic self, I can still break records and have the whole world sing and dance along.”
Considering the immense success of the song, it may surprise some that it almost didn’t see the light of day!
“I had it on repeat till morning,” Rosé shared. “Then a rush of emotion came through, and I was like, ‘I need to get everybody to delete it’ — I was overwhelmed.”
However, everyone she shared it with kept messaging her, saying they couldn’t get it out of their heads.
She also discussed her debut album.
“It’s a time capsule of my 20s,” she explained. “It’s me becoming independent and reflecting on my emotions and being my full, authentic self. I poured my heart and soul into it.”
Regarding “APT.,” Rosé revealed that she and Bruno had a disagreement on the set of the music video!
