Runway Inspired Outfits for a Chic Look

Khaite Top (old, similar here), Dries Van Noten Skirt, Alaia Heels, Chanel Necklace, Destree Bag

The Spring/Summer ‘26 runway showcased a plethora of styling ideas that I adored, featuring sculptural skirts, expressive textures, layered colors, and directional tailoring. These are the looks I aimed to recreate with pieces I currently love.

Power Skirt

This season, the skirt takes center stage, characterized by bold proportions, saturated colors, or tactile finishes. When paired with a refined top layer—be it silk, knit, or tailored fabric—it creates a look that is strong, composed, and undeniably statement-making.

The Wrapped Detail

Wrapped and knotted elements offer a playful twist to styling, incorporating scarves and draped layers tied at the waist or across the body. This detail transforms the look into something more expressive, adding movement and spontaneity to otherwise polished pieces.

Fringe Movement

Fringe is elongated and layered, introducing constant motion and texture to the silhouette. Whether through a dress or as a statement detail, it injects energy and playfulness, with each movement creating depth and visual interest.

Sheer Layering

Transparency is explored through layered construction using sheer fabrics, lace, and lightweight materials that create depth through tone and contrast. Styled in multiples, this effect feels dimensional, expressive, and intentionally slightly undone.
