Russell Dickerson revealed that his friend Keith Urban is a resilient individual.
Three months after Nicole Kidman and the “Somebody Like You” singer—who share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14—finalized their divorce, his country music colleague provided an update on Keith’s well-being.
“He’s always been focused on music, and so I think he’s just kind of doubling down on that, and it’s just beautiful,” Russell told Page Six at the March 26 iHeartRadio Music Awards. “I can’t wait to hear what comes out of it.”
Although the country music stars were able to connect at the Country to Country festival in mid-March, Russell noted that he didn’t get to spend “tons of time” with Keith. However, from the moments they shared together, Russell said that the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” hitmaker “seemed in good spirits.”
“I’ve toured with all of them,” he said, referring to country’s biggest stars. “But Keith Urban is my guy.”
The update on Keith follows Nicole, 58, sharing that she was doing “all right” after the couple finalized their divorce in January after 19 years of marriage.
