Russell Wilson is intercepting the narrative.
After the latest round of Jeffrey Epstein-related files were released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), mentioning Wilson by name, the New York Giants quarterback set the record straight regarding why his name appeared in the records.
“NOPE!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!,” he wrote on X on Feb. 1. “Not TODAY satan! Some random plane broker tried to sell me a plane. I had no idea whose plane it was and never bought the plane. Never talked nor met the man. Thank God!!!”
According to the documents released on Jan. 30 and obtained by Us Weekly, the disgraced financier exchanged messages with his personal pilot Larry Visoski about Wilson purchasing his Gulfstream G-IV private jet.
In January 2019, Visoski wrote to Epstein saying that Wilson was calling “non-stop” after viewing the plane, also referring to the four-year, $140 million contract that Wilson signed in the same year with the Seattle Seahawks.
