Sheckler — who is now a husband and father of two — explained that he chose to give up alcohol on March 30, 2020, as it was impacting his loved ones.

“I wasn’t just hurting myself,” he explained. “I was hurting the people around me. Once I realized that I was affecting those who truly care about me, I couldn’t handle it anymore.”

Sheckler added, “there’s nothing better” than how he feels now.
