Live from the UBS Arena in New York for the second time, the MTV Video Music Awards will be a star-studded evening — as expected! Weeks after the nominees were unveiled, MTV has released its first batch of performers, and it includes some of the music industry’s biggest names.

VMAs Performers
MTV released the first round of performers three weeks before the VMAs.

- Ricky Martin
- Alex Warren
- Busta Rhymes
- J Balvin ft.DJ Snake

The second batch of performers has not been unveiled at the time of publication.
In addition to performing, Ricky is also receiving the Latin Icon Award at this year’s VMAs.
As for the coveted Video Vanguard Award, this year’s recipient is Mariah Carey.

The VMAs will be simulcast on CBS and MTV.
