Discover 10 Fun Facts about the multi-talented Samantha Lorraine below!

  1. I’m absolutely obsessed with doing accents, whether it’s a British, Australian, or southern accent. It is my go-to move in any situation and, funnily enough, my nervous tic. I find that switching up my voice not only entertains others but also keeps me engaged during performances.
  2. My hidden talent is an impressive anime impression. I don’t really know how to describe it, but someone recently told me that I was like a walking anime character. It. was. awesome. This unique skill often surprises people and adds an element of fun to my interactions.
  3. I’m a huge bookworm! I could spend literal hours in a bookstore if I could; that’s actually part of my dream day. My favorite genre is definitely philosophy/dark literature, but you can also catch me indulging in popular titles like Fourth Wing and ACOTAR any day. Books provide an escape and a chance to explore new ideas and perspectives.
  4. I have to admit I am a theater kid through and through. Nothing moves me more than a good musical or play. I just recently watched Cabaret and Next to Normal, and yes, the tears were flowing. My dream role would probably be a character like Sally Bowles or Velma Kelly, unhinged and chaotic in the best way possible. #theaterkidforlife
  5. Recently, I took up playing guitar! I’m still working on getting those barre chords down, but I’m not too shabby! I love strumming along to tunes by Leonard Cohen or The Velvet Underground. Playing guitar and singing along while it’s raining outside is my kind of heaven, providing a therapeutic escape.

  1. My family and friends say that I’m an old lady reincarnated, and here’s why. My favorite hobby is crocheting; I’ve made SO many things that half my closet is filled with yarn just waiting to be used. I also love giving hand-made gifts, so crafting crocheted items for people is a significant part of how I express my affection.
  2. For about 11 years, I was a competitive dancer; during that time, I won 2 national titles and attended a pre-company ballet school. Since leaving dance, I’ve become a huge gym rat and love lifting and running. Slowly but surely, I’m working on gaining the confidence to run a marathon—one step at a time!
  3. I grew up in a household filled with gaming, so naturally, I’m a huge gamer. My favorites include Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West, The Last of Us, Sims 4, Animal Crossing, and God of War. Gaming is 1000% my guilty pleasure, and a good game can keep me glued to the couch for hours!
  4. My family and friends know to never turn a corner sharply because I will be there waiting to scare them. The number of times I’ve startled my siblings and cousins makes me proud; in a past life, I was definitely a scare actor. I always tell my friends that if I weren’t an actress, I would love to be a scare actor at Halloween Horror Nights or something similar.
  5. Since I travel quite frequently, I have a few plane traditions. My main tradition is that I have to listen to a new album for the duration of the flight. There’s something about being in the air and enjoying transcendent music that hits so hard! The most recent album I listened to was Speaking in Tongues by Talking Heads, and it was simply phenomenal.
  6. BONUS FACT! Unfortunately, I have a really bad habit of never drinking water; instead, I consume tea like it’s nobody’s business. I enjoy varieties like chamomile, lemongrass, jasmine, rose, chai, and berry—give me all of them!
  7. BONUS FACT! Restaurants should definitely serve their sauces on the side. This might seem petty, but I really dislike mayo, ketchup, and condiments in general, so when I order food and it’s slathered in sauce, nothing grosses me out more than overdressed food. I believe that natural food is incredibly delicious! Perhaps it’s because I’m Latin, but I need real seasonings.
