Jennifer Garner’s son is stepping into the spotlight.

The Alias alum and ex-husband Ben Affleck’s 13-year-old son Samuel looked so grown up as he joined his mom at the New York Stock Exchange on February 6 to commemorate her company Once Upon a Farm going public.

In pictures of the rare joint outing, Jennifer donned a navy peacoat-style dress as she held hands with Samuel, who looked like the perfect blend of his parents while sporting a navy sportcoat and slacks.

Having her youngest child by her side must’ve meant the world to the Juno actress—also mom to Seraphina, 17, and Violet, 20, with Ben—because she recently reflected on why she switched up her parenting style.

“They’re just so cool!” the 53-year-old told Marie Claire UK about raising teenagers. “Parenting now has shifted. It’s more about parenting with a button on my mouth.”

In fact, she had to learn to relinquish being in charge, adding, “You have to let them grow up and make their choices. You don’t get to control it.”
