‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Departure Hinted by Whitney Leavitt

Whitney Leavitt is contemplating pursuing other aspirations beyond Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

The 32-year-old reality star spoke with The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on Monday (March 16) about some of the ambitions she still holds that may lead her away from the Hulu series.

“I wouldn’t be where I am without [The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives],” Whitney states, adding, “But it feels like it’s time to challenge myself in other ways and fulfill these dreams and passions that I’ve been trying to pursue even before the show.”

At one point, THR’s McKinley Franklin asked the Dancing with the Stars alum if she envisions herself leaving the show, especially as she continues to receive outside opportunities, such as her current Broadway role as Roxie Hart in Chicago.

“Well, I’m figuring it out in real time. We’re figuring it out together,” she replied, referring to her husband, Connor Leavitt, “But it feels like that’s the trajectory of where it’s going.”

Whitney will also star in a new romantic comedy film set to be released sometime this year.

The popular Hulu reality show is currently in a delicate situation as production on season 5 has been paused amid allegations of domestic violence involving star Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.
