Margot Robbie never misses a chance to impress, and she did so again by wearing a sheer corset micro minidress recently. The “I, Tonya” star has consistently excelled in her fashion choices throughout the “Wuthering Heights” press tour. For the film’s promotional events in her home country, Australia, she fully embraced gothic glamour with her Ashi Studio pieces.
Margot Robbie’s sheer Ashi Studio micro minidress is literally a corset
Margot Robbie collaborated with Andrew Mukamal to showcase yet another stunning look during the Sydney photocall for “Wuthering Heights” on February 12. She wore a custom Ashi Studio sheer micro minidress that is a corset through and through. Look 22 from the brand’s Spring 2025 Couture seemed to inspire this piece.
Crafted from intricate lace, the strapless minidress hugged her frame with sculptural precision. While the sheer fabric created a barely-there illusion, the floral embroidery added depth and texture. The bodice featured visible boning that ran vertically down the front. The fitted design cinched at the waist before skimming over the hips, creating a sculpted hourglass effect.
The short hemline balanced the vintage-inspired structure with modern sensuality. At the back, a row of delicate lace-up detailing ran down the center, reinforcing the garment’s architectural integrity while adding a romantic, old-world touch. From the front, the dress appeared to be delicate eveningwear spun from lace and light. It was the back that erased any doubt about it being a corset.
Robbie returned to the London-based designer Jessica McCormack for her jewelry for the evening. The diamond choker necklace seemed to have a design similar to the brand’s 1775 Diamond Bracelet. The blackened and yellow gold used in the necklace echoed the period themes of “Wuthering Heights.”
Earlier that day, she had worn a similar yellow and blackened gold and diamond choker along with rings from Lorraine Schwartz, paired with a different Ashi Studio ensemble. Custom Manolo Blahnik sandals completed the actress’s look for both appearances.
