Emma Watson is enjoying the perks of being in vacation mode.

The Harry Potter alum made a rare public appearance as she embarked on a hike with her personal trainer while visiting Saint-Tropez, France, on August 21.

During the leisurely excursion, Emma, 35, donned a sheer black long-sleeve dress over a bright red bikini, completing her ensemble with a pair of turquoise sneakers and wearing her hair in a loose updo. She accessorized with a pair of sunglasses and assorted jewelry on her hands and neck.

And hiking isn’t the only way Emma has been keeping fit. Earlier this year, she competed on the rowing team at Oxford University—where she has been studying since 2023—in the school’s annual Summer Eights rowing regatta on the Thames River, according to photos published by the Daily Mail in May.

Since stepping away from her acting career in order to hit the books, Emma has seemingly thrown herself headfirst into all aspects of academic life. Indeed, shortly after enrolling, she raved about how the program was already paying off.
