On February 18, 2026, Raines’ daughter Danielle Williams revealed to People that her cause of death was hypertensive heart disease.
Earlier, her twin sister Sheila spoke with People shortly after the news broke regarding Raines’ death. Sheila shared that Raines’ youngest daughter attempted to visit her at home in Henderson, Nevada on January 27 but received no response after multiple calls. Concerned for her mother’s well-being, she went to the house and “waited and waited” for a reply. She even threw rocks at the window without success.
After contacting the police for a wellness check, authorities found Raines “unresponsive,” lying beside her bed, according to Sheila’s account to People. She noted there were “no visible signs” indicating a reason for her sudden death.
“We’re in shock,” she remarked.
