Chase takes a risk
At the Quartermaines, Brook Lynn expresses her concerns to Michael about bringing Willow back into Chase’s life. He admits he is not pleased either, but she is essential for their situation. Meanwhile, Chase visits Willow to discuss the foster arrangement. Willow agrees to help by putting in a good word.
Looking for a spider
Michael assists Wiley in searching for a spider for his homework. When they fail to find one at home, they decide to head to the park. Wiley attempts to call Willow to join them, but she does not answer.
New assistant coach
Nathan, Felicia, and James enjoy breakfast at Bobbie’s when Kai and Trina enter. James rushes over to his baseball coach. At their table, Trina mentions her experience in a baseball league, leading Kai to invite her to be the new assistant coach.
Meanwhile, Nathan discusses his relationship with Lulu with Felicia. She indicates that if Maxie is willing to give them a chance, so will she. Shortly after, Nathan receives a text and departs. James then reveals to Felicia that he aspires to become a cop like his father.
A grave mistake
Kai and Trina visit Drew’s house with Willow. They ask the congresswoman to sponsor a softball league. Suddenly, Willow’s phone rings with the “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” ringtone. Without thinking twice, Trina assumes it must be Wiley calling.
Willow struggles to locate her phone as Kai suggests it might be in the living room. Drew recalls hearing that ringtone on the night he was shot. When Willow finds her phone, Kai comments that the ringtone can be heard all the way to the bedroom. After they leave, Willow reflects deeply on his words.
Out for blood
At his residence, Sidwell instructs Jordan to uncover what details the PCPD has regarding Marco’s death. He suspects that Dante will attempt to shield Sonny from scrutiny. She reassures him that Dante takes his responsibilities seriously; however, Sidwell remains unconvinced and becomes enraged. He threatens to ruin her life if she fails to comply.
For the baby’s sake
Curtis and Portia agree that they should strive to create a stable environment for their baby. Curtis wishes to know the baby’s gender; however, Portia feels uncomfortable with this idea. Curtis supports her choice.
Nathan is who now?
Nathan arrives at Wyndemere where Sidwell insists he must make Sonny pay for Marco’s death at all costs. The PCPD detective argues that this is not something Nathan would do. Sidwell counters by stating that he is not addressing Nathan West; he is speaking to Cassius Faison.
