He elaborated on his success further, stating, “but on TikTok Live, where people can just give to me direct, I think maybe $20,000. So that?s phenomenal, and life-changing.? The 41-year-old media personality emphasized the transformative nature of such support, stating, “And that?s the most powerful when you don’t have to rely on ads or AI and algorithms when just actual human beings just want to give. Notably, Spencer’s insights came just before TikTok experienced significant disruptions, affecting approximately 170 million users in the U.S. due to a national security-related law. On January 19, the Chinese-owned platform announced, “In agreement with our service providers, TikTok is in the process of restoring service,” indicating the ongoing challenges faced by social media platforms and their users.
