Spring 2026 Vogue Cover Features Rosalía’s Refreshing Style

Change is in the air at Vogue HQ in Downtown New York, now that Chloe Malle is sitting comfortably as the American fashion bible’s head of editorial content. Malle succeeded the long-serving Anna Wintour (who remains as Vogue’s global editorial director) back in June, and Malle’s first official print issue is here. Having cut the frequency to just eight print magazine issues a year, Rosalía stars on the Spring 2026 cover of Vogue. Malle commissioned the photographer Alasdair McLellan to profile the Spanish singer-songwriter, with Carlos Nazario reporting for styling duties. In the sun-lit cover shot, the Grammy Award-winning talent poses on a beach in Los Angeles, California, wearing a ruffled creation from Jonathan Anderson’s debut Spring 2026 Christian Dior Haute Couture collection – presented on the runway just mere weeks ago.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“She looks great. Also (obviously) commissioning (or pre-shooting) a Dior look before the show is quite a powerful move,” heralded Kite upon checking out the cover.

“I would say this is one of the best Vogue covers she has ever had. So refreshing,” admired voulezvous.

“I think it’s absolutely gorgeous and I’ll definitely be getting a copy,” shared LastNight. “I love Rosalía and I love Alasdair’s photography, so this is perfect for me. The cover feels light and airy – a lovely way to usher in spring!”

Forum member crmsn used the word “gorgeous” to describe the cover.

However, not everyone was so forthcoming. “This is perfectly fine but does not feel like a new era is being ushered in,” critiqued Lucien112.

“Nothing groundbreaking or interesting,” Kimy Jo shared.

“Not at all surprised to see Malle commission such a quintessential American Vogue cover. Must admit that I feel quite a sense of relief at seeing something so… familiar-looking. The motto ‘if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it’ springs to mind. This is an undeniably beautiful cover, and I’m not even a Rosalía fan,” vogue28 confessed.
