Steam Offers 9/10 Game Free for 48 Hours

As the year continues to move forward at a frankly alarming rate, Steam continues to bring us PC gamers new sales and events that make resisting the temptation to buy more games all the more difficult.

Right now, the House and Home Fest is well underway, bringing players a ton of simulation and cozy homemaking games at a massively reduced rate, along with a bunch of demos you can try out to make sure that you want to commit to the full purchase before you do.

Particular highlights include both PowerWash Simulator 1 and 2 being heavily reduced, with sterling indie efforts like Whisper of the House, The Berlin Apartment, and Creature Kitchen all well worth your consideration. That said, arguably the best of the bunch is set to go entirely free to play for 48 hours, and you’ll almost certainly like it so much that you’ll feel obliged to buy it when all is said and done.

Steam Gamers Have Until April 5 To Try This Free Game

Over on Steam, you should be able to find the store page for House Flipper, a simulation game that really does what it says in the title and allows players to transform ruined properties into dream homes before selling them for a profit or using them as a base of operations.

Along the way you’ll be doing everything from repairing sections of the house to remodeling and redecorating rooms and exteriors, all while listening to the demands of potential buyers. Speaking from personal experience, it’s genuinely a lot of fun and a great way to turn your brain off at the end of a long day.

I’m certainly not in the minority in that view either, as the game currently sits on an Overwhelmingly Positive 9/10 rating in the recent reviews section. As part of the event, it’s available at a 75% discount (final price varies by region), and in even better news, it will be entirely free-to-play between April 3 and April 5, giving you plenty of time to explore everything it has to offer.

House Flipper Is Enormous Fun, Don’t Miss Out

Though its premise might be on the mundane side, House Flipper has some genuinely impressive thought put into the way that it controls and functions. The gameplay loop somehow avoids too much repetition and each house feels like a genuinely distinct project that you’ll need to approach differently.

If you haven’t played House Flipper yet, this is the perfect opportunity, and I’m almost certain you won’t regret it if you do.
