How Sterling K. Brown’s Kids Really Feel About Seeing Him on Billboards (Exclusive)
Sterling K. Brown’s children perceive him as an ordinary dad rather than a cool one.
Specifically, the Paradise actor’s sons Andrew, 14, and Amaré, 10—who he shares with wife Ryan Michelle Bathe—are not excited when they see their dad on billboards around town.
“This is so crazy, they’re used to it,” Sterling exclusively told E! News’s Will Marfuggi during a joint interview with costar Julianne Nicholson. “I’m not used to it, like it’s cool for me.”
“They just don’t look at the picture. They’ll stay on their phones,” he added. “They’ll be like, ‘Yeah, Dad, I’ve seen it.’ So, I’m like, ‘OK, thanks buddy,’ as I turtle into my little shell.”
Sterling—who returns alongside Julianne in season two of Paradise, which premieres with three episodes on Feb. 23—also shared that while his youngest thinks he’s “slightly cool,” joking that the preteen “hasn’t gotten to a jaded place yet,” his older son does not share the same sentiment.
