A recently surfaced video reportedly shows Sudiksha Konanki, a student from the University of Pittsburgh, alongside Joshua Riibe, identified as a person of interest in her case, socializing at a bar mere hours before her mysterious disappearance. This surprising footage raises questions about the circumstances leading to her being missing.

Television news outlet Noticia SIN, based in the Dominican Republic, obtained surveillance footage recorded at the bar located in the Riu República Resort in Punta Cana on March 6. This footage is crucial as it provides insight into the events leading up to her disappearance.

The video reportedly depicts Konanki dressed in all-white attire, with her back turned to the camera as she approaches a grassy area and bends over, seemingly to vomit. Subsequently, she walks over to a friend, displaying lively behavior by jumping up and down, which reflects her state before the incident.

Meanwhile, Noticia SIN identified a man hunched over the grass nearby, who appears to be Riibe, also seemingly retching. Notably, there is no interaction captured between Riibe and Konanki in the video, which raises further questions about their relationship and the events that transpired.

The news station has also acquired additional security footage that allegedly captures Konanki wandering through the hotel lobby alongside her friend before they eventually exit the frame. This footage could hold significant evidence regarding her last known movements.

Both videos were recorded around the time Konanki was reported missing in the early hours of March 6, following a beach stroll with Riibe, who remains the last person seen with her. Authorities have stated that while Konanki’s body has not yet been recovered, they suspect that she may have drowned in the ocean, although they have not dismissed the possibility of foul play.

Her clothes were discovered draped over a beach chair, leading investigators to believe she may have ventured into the turbulent waters before going missing. Police have classified Riibe as a “person of interest” after he reportedly provided inconsistent accounts of the events during questioning, further complicating the investigation.
