Alan Ritchson received an astonishing surprise visit from President Joe Biden while filming Reacher season four in Philadelphia!
The 42-year-old actor, known for his role in the popular Prime Video action series, was actively engaged in filming on Monday, June 16, when the former President, alongside his wife Dr. Jill Biden and son Hunter Biden, unexpectedly arrived on set during their breakfast outing.

“Our Reacher filming set happened to intersect with these remarkable individuals,” Alan captioned his social media post, which featured photos and videos alongside the Bidens. “Meeting the Biden family was a true privilege and honor. They were incredibly warm, joyful, gracious, and fully engaged.”
Alan further shared, “We exchanged a few light-hearted conversations about fascinating topics, such as string theory and quantum entanglement. The highlight was when Joe challenged me to an arm wrestling match and won. Just another day in the life!”
According to local news reports, the Bidens were casually walking through Rittenhouse Square after enjoying breakfast at a popular restaurant named Parc, which coincidentally was the exact location where Reacher was filming just outside.
“It was quite surreal, something I could never have anticipated, witnessing both events unfold simultaneously,” remarked photographer Hugh E. Dillon during an interview with CBS News Philadelphia.
Hugh explained that he was observing a thrilling police chase scene being filmed for Reacher when suddenly a black SUV arrived on the scene.
“Out stepped these individuals, initially thought to be actors, but soon the entire cast and crew erupted into applause and cheer. Then someone shouted, ‘We love you, Joe, we love you!’” he recounted. “I initially believed it was a wrap for the day’s filming, but it turned out to be Joe Biden, who decided to stop by Parc Rittenhouse for some breakfast.”
