A previously released sneak peek from the new season shows that Dana Sue and Helen will take a brief trip to visit Maddie in the bustling city, but their stay will be short-lived, as they will quickly return to their lives in Serenity. With her best friends occupied, Maddie will find herself in need of new support, and Nell is ready to step in. We hope she becomes a true ally for Maddie in this new chapter of her life. Besides her iconic role as Meadow Soprano in The Sopranos, Sigler has also garnered recognition for her performances in the ABC sitcom, Guys with Kids, and recently starred as Tonya Walsh in the crime drama series, Big Sky.
In addition to Jamie-Lynn Sigler, the cast of Sweet Magnolias Season 5 is enriched by other exciting newcomers. Janice Wesley (The Awakening) will portray Miss Eustice, a well-respected town matron of Serenity. Courtney Grace will take on the role of Courtney Sinclair, who is Ronnie’s ambitious new business partner. Meanwhile, John Gabriel Rodriquez (The Allegiant) will join as Clark Bellson, a rival business owner in Serenity whose presence adds complexity to the lives of the Magnolias.
