OK, something must be happening at Cosmopolitan HQ, and we are 100% here for it. The Hearst-owned publication is very slowly but surely creeping back on our radar. Back in August, the magazine celebrated its monumental 60th anniversary with a vibrant and sultry Margaret Qualley cover offering, which essentially made us go weak at the knees. We might have to make another mad dash to the newsstand for the title’s latest edition. Willa Bennett, who was appointed editor-in-chief in 2024, secures Sydney Sweeney as a cover girl for the Spring 2026 edition of Cosmopolitan magazine. The American actress is all smiles in the cover shot, captured via the lens of photographer Morgan Maher, wearing a bra from her lingerie brand Syrn and a hot pink bodycon dress from Hervé Léger.
Sydney Sweeney for Cosmopolitan Spring 2026

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Sydney looks like a 90s supermodel on the cover shot by Scavullo. She looks stunning, and this cover puts a smile on my face,” immediately shared MModa.
“Nice cover, very Francesco Scavullo,” echoed forum member gatocosmico.
“It may have the feel of those classic Scavullo covers, with the background, glamorous get-up, and simple layout. But it’s a poor approximation. Don’t think those classic covers ever had a model with such a cheesy smile or a pose where the model smushed her breasts together,” replied mikel.
“I like it. Cleavage and Cosmo go way back and have done great things together,” voiced 90sCosmo.
Jal718 declared: “Best Cosmo cover in years!”
“The cover is stunning. I love how much Sydney bothers people online and chronically dumb critics while going from success to success,” mepps enthused.
