In her role opposite Jordan, Russell was set to portray an insurance investigator who becomes suspicious of the charismatic banking executive, believing he may be involved in a series of audacious heists. As the plot unfolds, their professional relationship is complicated by a budding romantic connection. This character was originally brought to life by the legendary Faye Dunaway alongside Steve McQueen in the classic 1968 version, and later by Rene Russo opposite Pierce Brosnan in the 1999 remake, highlighting the character’s rich cinematic history.
In addition to starring in The Thomas Crown Affair, Michael B. Jordan is making his mark as a director, leading the project with a script penned by Drew Pearce.
