Taylor Swift has experience in dismissing critics, and she now has a straightforward reply for those who wish she would “go away.”
During her Wednesday appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” she responded to naysayers who urge her to leave the spotlight, stating bluntly, “I don’t want to!”
In the same breath, the “Opalite” hitmaker praised her fiancé Travis Kelce as one of her top three go-to people for life and career advice, expressing enthusiasm by saying, “I can talk to him about any of this.”
Travis was mentioned alongside Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks and her frequent collaborator Max Martin, as individuals she can consult on everything from industry inquiries to handling animosity. She further complimented them, noting that one of the qualities she admires most in people is their career longevity, which they all exemplify through their successful careers.
However, her discussions aren’t limited to career matters. She shared with Colbert that she is equally impressed by enduring friendships and relationships.
Taylor also highlighted the significant impact of her Eras Tour as she prepares to release the first two episodes of her “The End of an Era” docuseries, coinciding with her 36th birthday.
A sneak preview released by “Good Morning America” earlier on Wednesday showed Taylor becoming emotional while discussing the challenges associated with organizing such a large-scale event. Fans are also eager to see glimpses of her developing relationship with Travis in the docuseries.
From the studio to the stage and beyond, it appears that Taylor is surrounded by ample support and has no intention of slowing down!
