Yes, the legendary progressive rock band, is set to perform their iconic 1971 album, Fragile, in its entirety this fall as part of the band’s much-anticipated Album Series. This landmark LP not only represented a significant evolution for the group but also solidified their status in the music industry.
The current lineup of the band — featuring the exceptional talents of guitarist Steve Howe, keyboardist Geoff Downes, vocalist Jon Davison, bassist Billy Sherwood, and drummer Jay Schellen — will kick off the tour in October, embarking on a journey that includes over 30 performances until mid-November, showcasing their artistry and musical prowess.
In addition to delivering the full experience of their groundbreaking album, Yes will also take the stage to perform a selection of other beloved tracks from their extensive musical repertoire, delighting fans with a rich tapestry of melodies from their remarkable career.

Fragile made its debut in the band’s home country of the U.K. in November 1971, followed by a U.S. release in January 1972. This album was groundbreaking, becoming Yes’ first Top 10 album in the United States, reaching an impressive No. 4 on the charts. Its success was fueled by hit singles such as “Roundabout,” which secured a spot in the Top 15, along with other notable tracks like “Long Distance Runaround” and “Heart of the Sunrise.”
The classic lineup of the band, which included Howe, vocalist Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, keyboardist Rick Wakeman, and drummer Bill Bruford, first came together during the creation of the album Fragile, marking a pivotal moment in their musical journey.
As Steve Howe expressed in a recent press release, “Every album the band produced had its unique feel and approach.” He emphasized how, following the release of The Yes Album, the creative synergy among the band members flourished, with Eddie Offord expertly guiding the production process. While the band focused on four primary songs with intricate arrangements, each member contributed a solo piece, an innovative idea proposed by Bill. This approach, while unconventional, showcased their peak creativity and unwavering determination for success.
This year has proven to be particularly active for Yes alumni. Rick Wakeman will embark on a solo tour in July, while Jon Anderson recently kicked off a tour with the Band Geeks in April. The last time Yes was on the road was in September 2024, during their Classic Tales of Yes Tour. Their most recent album, Mirror to the Sky, was released in 2023, continuing their legacy of musical excellence.
