Apple TV unveiled the official trailer for The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2, the hit thriller starring Jennifer Garner, Angourie Rice, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
“In Season 2, Owen (Coster-Waldau) shows up after five years on the run, and Hannah (Garner) and her stepdaughter Bailey (Rice) find themselves in a race to figure out how to reunite their family before the past catches up to them,” Apple TV’s official synopsis reads.

What happens in The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2 trailer?
“How could you not have told me?” Hannah says in the trailer. After spending several years on the run, Owen returns to try to make things right. He plans to build a case against a powerful criminal organization. However, it now puts Hannah and Bailey in danger. Despite it being safer to avoid Owen, Hannah remains steadfast in helping her husband.
“We are going to do this together,” Hannah emphatically states.
The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2 also stars Judy Greer, Rita Wilson, Augusto Aguilera, Josh Hamilton, Nick Hargrove, Michael Galante, John Noble, Michael Hyatt, Luke Kirby, and Elizabeth O’Donnell. It is based on The First Time I Saw Him, Laura Dave’s bestselling sequel novel.
The Last Thing He Told Me was developed for television by executive producers Dave and Josh Singer, with the latter serving as co-showrunner with Aaron Zelman. Additional executive producers include Garner, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Daisy von Scherler Mayer, and Merri D. Howard. Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and 20th Television produce the show for Apple TV.
The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2 premieres with the first episode on Friday, February 20, 2026. One new episode will premiere every Friday through April 10, 2026. Stream all episodes on Apple TV.
