After clarifying that they were allowed to select characters no longer living in the series, Norman promptly chose the late Hershel Greene as his top pick. He elaborated, “I envision Hershel as the genius strategist guiding us, using his wisdom to direct our actions effectively.”
In addition, Norman expressed his desire to bring back fan-favorites Michonne and Rick Grimes, both of whom managed to survive the harrowing events of The Walking Dead. For his final selection, Norman decided on his character’s brother, Merle Dixon, remarking, “He’s the whirlwind of the group, bringing an unpredictable energy.”
Melissa wholeheartedly supported Norman‘s choice, emphasizing that Merle Dixon would serve as “the brave one who ventures in first to clear the way. He’s the one who goes ahead to ensure safety; if he fails to return, we know it’s too dangerous for us to proceed.”
