Tilda Swinton as the Face of Tom Ford Black Orchid Reserve: A Misstep?


We genuinely do not know where you’ve been if you didn’t already know that Haider Ackermann is the creative director of Tom Ford. Ackermann picked up from where Peter Hawkings left off, less than twelve months after unveiling his debut collection. Back in March, during Paris Fashion Week, Ackermann presented his highly anticipated first collection at the helm of the luxurious label. The celebrated Colombian-born French designer continues to put his stamp on Tom Ford, enlisting Tilda Swinton as the face and embodiment of the Tom Ford Black Orchid Reserve fragrance and stars in the campaign. The British Oscar-winning actress (and long-time friend and muse of Haider) is placed before the lens of the photographic duo Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin for the occasion.
