Tom Holland noticed a humorous error in his conversation.

The Spider-Man: No Way Home star charmingly corrected a journalist who referred to Zendaya—his fiancée since January—as his “girlfriend” during a panel discussion.

“I brought my daughter, and she got to meet your girlfriend,” the reporter reminisced about a recent event attended by the Euphoria actress in the clip shared on X on Sept. 29. “So, I was father of the year.”

In response to the story, Tom chuckled at the label before promptly correcting, “Fiancée.”

It’s understandable that the Uncharted actor would want to clarify his relationship with Zendaya, which became public in 2021. His father, Dominic Holland, emphasized that considerable thought went into his proposal during the 2024 holiday season.

“He had purchased a ring,” Dominic wrote in a Patreon post back in January. “He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear.”
