Reflecting on the inspiration for his new LP, Williams stated, “I aimed to create the album that I envisioned writing and releasing after departing from Take That in 1995.” He emphasized that it was a pivotal time during the peak of Britpop, marking a golden era for British music. “I’ve collaborated with some of my musical heroes on this album; it’s raw, features more guitar work, and is even more uplifting and anthemic than my previous efforts. There’s a strong dose of Brit influence and definitely some pop elements as well – I take immense pride in this body of work and can’t wait for my fans to experience this album.”
