Dwight Manfredi isn’t leaving Tulsa anytime soon. Paramount+ has officially renewed Tulsa King for a fourth season, just days before the show’s highly anticipated Season 3 premiere. The hit mob drama from Taylor Sheridan, starring the iconic Sylvester Stallone, has been a significant success for the streamer since its debut in 2022. Season 3 premieres Sunday, September 21, 2025, exclusively on Paramount+, and will introduce the show’s most formidable villains yet — the Dunmires, a ruthless old-money family challenging Dwight’s growing empire.
The renewal comes as no surprise, given the show’s exemplary track record. Tulsa King was the #1 global Paramount+ Original in 2024 and ranked among the Top 10 Original Series across all streaming services in Q4. Season 2 shattered records for the platform, drawing 21.1 million global viewers for its premiere episode — the most-watched global debut in Paramount+ history. The season also sparked massive engagement online, driving 159 million views (+894% season-over-season) and 6.1 million engagements (+553% SoS).
Season 3 sees Dwight’s empire expand — but so do the threats. As he consolidates power in Tulsa, Dwight and his crew must fend off the Dunmires, a family that doesn’t play by the old-world rules of the mob. For Dwight, the fight isn’t just about his empire anymore — it’s about survival and protecting his family. Alongside Stallone, the cast includes Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, Kevin Pollak, Vincent Piazza, Frank Grillo, Michael Beach, and James Russo. Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany also return, with the iconic Samuel L. Jackson joining Season 3 as Russell Lee Washington Jr., likely setting the stage for his upcoming spin-off series, NOLA King.
Is ‘Tulsa King’ Worth Watching?
Collider’s Jeff Ewing felt the show nailed Season 3, labelling it its strongest outing yet, and proving why there’s staying power in the world of the General himself while hailing the additions to the cast.
“Altogether, Season 3 is shaping up to be Tulsa King‘s most exciting installment yet. It adds strong antagonists to the world who set dangerous stakes early, backed by excellent new additions to the cast (anything’s better with Robert Patrick in it). It boasts greater involvement and development of some key, formerly underutilized players, which benefits its storytelling. There’s also a promise of greater mob danger as the narrative plays out, keeping the pressure on Dwight and refusing to let go. While it’s impossible to say how well everything will ultimately come together, Tulsa King Season 3 is a thoroughly tense ride nonetheless — and the best that Taylor Sheridan’s series has been so far.”
