Taylor Sheridan has an impressive roster of actors filling out Tulsa King, and many have appeared in his other series. Great star power is a quality that weaves throughout all of Taylor Sheridan’s TV shows, with many of the actors who appeared in Tulsa King first appearing in series like Yellowstone and its spinoffs.
Primed for another great season with Sylvester Stallone at the helm, the series returns with Tulsa King season 3 on September 21. While the third season hasn’t aired yet, the mafia crime drama has officially been renewed for season 4, suggesting Sheridan’s crime drama could be as big as Yellowstone.
While Yellowstone is doubtlessly its co-creator’s most notable project, with four seasons, Tulsa King could compete with the Dutton saga as Sheridan’s longest-running show. If that happens, we’ll likely see more regular Taylor Sheridan actors join the series — perhaps even someone like James Jordan, who appears in almost every Sheridan series but hasn’t featured in the cast of Tulsa King.
Domenick Lombardozzi
While he won’t appear in Tulsa King season 3, Domenick Lombardozzi plays a pivotal role in seasons 1 and 2. He plays Charles Invernizzi, or “Chickie,” the successor of the family’s former leader, his father, Pete “The Rock” Invernizzi. From the start of Tulsa King, Chickie is an antagonist towards Dwight, and eventually all those around him, catalyzing his downfall.
Lombardozzi also appears in Kevin Costner’s original Yellowstone series. In Yellowstone season 2, the actor shows up as a masked assailant, a dubious figure and dark force against the Duttons as they face off with the Beck brothers. While Lombardozzi’s role isn’t significant, it got his foot in the door of the Sheridan-verse.
While his footing in the cast of Tulsa King is certainly more substantial than his role in Yellowstone season 2, episode 7, Lombardozzi isn’t returning for the crime thriller’s third season. In the season 2 finale, Bill Bevilaqua (Frank Grillo) took Chickie out when he and the New York leader came to Tulsa to see Dwight.
Barry Corbin
Barry Corbin is another performer who appears more than once in the Sheridan-verse. Corbin is featured in Tulsa King season 1, helping to set up the crime series for a successful run. He plays a character named Babe, who is Mitch Keller’s (Garrett Hedlund) uncle and appears alongside him in a handful of season 1 episodes.
Corbin also appears in the John Dutton-led series, with the actor playing a touching role in Yellowstone season 4. Throughout the season, Jimmy Hurdstrom (Jefferson White) is getting settled in Texas. Corbin plays Ross, a cowboy at the Four Sixes Ranch who has a word of wisdom or two to share with Travis Wheatley’s (Taylor Sheridan) newest hand.
Corbin is a longtime Western actor, so it makes sense that he was cast for not one but two iconic roles throughout the Sheridan-verse. While he didn’t appear in Tulsa King season 2, Corbin could reappear in another Sheridan production, possibly Yellowstone‘s 6666 spinoff that is set to take place at the Four Sixes Ranch.
Graham Greene
Graham Greene is a legendary actor who appears in Tulsa King, as well as one of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone spinoffs. In Tulsa King season 2, episode 9, Greene plays a character named Old Smoke, an Indigenous elder who meets Dwight at the ceremony for Jimmy (Glenn Gould) after Bellivaqua’s men kill him.
Old Smoke has a handful of meaningful moments, giving a eulogy at Jimmy’s funeral and then gifting Dwight a tomahawk in a symbolic gesture that pledges his and his group’s support for Dwight’s avenging Jimmy’s death. The appearance was one of the actor’s last performances before his death in 2025 when Graham Greene died at age 73 on September 1.
Before Tulsa King, Greene appeared in Sheridan’s first Yellowstone prequel, 1883. In its finale, “This Is Not Your Heaven,” Greene portrays Spotted Eagle, a Crow elder who meets James Dutton (Tim McGraw) and guides him to what would become the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch in the years to come, establishing Yellowstone‘s ending prophecy.
Michael Beach
Michael Beach plays a significant role throughout Tulsa King’s run as Mark Mitchell ,the father of Dwight ’s driver and right-hand ,Tyson Mitchell (Jay Will). As Tyson ’s father ,Beach portrays a working-class family man with a strong sense of right and wrong ,which often conflicts with the choices that his son makes due to his involvement with Dwight ’s work.
Before hisTulsa King stint ,Beach was introduced to the Sheridan-verse as Kareen Moore ,a prison guard-turned-warden inMayor of Kingstown. The Jeremy Renner-led thriller is Sheridan ’s other crime series for Paramount + ,making its actors an excellent choice forTulsa King.Surprisingly ,though ,Beach is the only regular Sheridan actor to appear in both his crime series.
While he faced some life-threatening circumstances inTulsa Kingseason two ,the unintended victim of a car bombing ,Tyson ’s dad will return for upcoming season .He is likely to continue as a counter-force to his son ’s career.Beach is also set to return forMayor of Kingstownseason four ,which will premiere on Paramount + on October twenty-six.
