We have become completely accustomed to Victoria Beckham greeting us at the newsstand. After all, the style icon frequently graces the cover of Vogue (from British Vogue (multiple times) to Vogue Greece and Vogue Korea, and guest-editing the holiday issue of Vogue Paris). Not to mention the covers of Allure, British Harper’s Bazaar, and more recently, American ELLE. Therefore, it should come as no surprise to see Victoria Beckham cover The Sunday Times Style, fronting the October 5th edition of the magazine. The British singer-turned-designer poses for photographer Mert Alas on this occasion, with stylist Laura Atkinson dressing Victoria in pieces from her eponymous fashion label.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“I wonder who cares about Victoria Beckham as a media personality since she’s no longer part of the Spice Girls and her brand is questionably unknown,” voiced DK92 upon checking out the cover.
“Seriously? She’s an icon!” replied forum member Royal-Galliano.
Lola701 chimed in: “I mean she has a Netflix documentary coming out, so some people care. Out of the Spice Girls, she is likely the only one people care about!”
“You know standards are dire when The Sunday Times Style is serving up stronger and more buzz-worthy covers than British Vogue. I have never minded the sight of Victoria Beckham on the covers of fashion magazines, so I’m very much here for this!” favored vogue28.
MModa admired: “Mert Alas made all the difference here. I love the work of Mert & Marcus because they know how to photograph women in a sexy and powerful way.”
