Vogue China August 2025 Highlights on theFashionSpot

Following his appointment as the editor of Vogue China in 2024, succeeding Margaret Zhang, Rocco Liu has highlighted some of China’s most prominent models such as Lina Zhang, He Cong, Jiahui Zhang, Liu Wen, and Fei Fei Sun on the cover. Liu’s passion for models continues with the release of the Vogue China August 2025 issue, featuring Hejia Li, Ying Ouyang, Diane Chiu, and Yilan Hua on the cover. The models took Paris by storm for this occasion, coming together in front of the camera of the photography duo Kulesza & Pik – with styling by Liu Xiao, who dressed the ladies in head-to-toe Loro Piana.

“They look like they are about to beat the photographer up,” remarked Avonlea upon checking out the cover.

“Not good,” stated oaklee91.

“Rocco Liu has been delivering mediocre to poor covers since he took over. Like what’s up with this dude?” asked a disapproving Mody.

“One word: trash,” MDNA described in a state of shock.

TomBlanksFullFatMiuMiu wasn’t impressed either. “These colors are so sad and dull,” they pointed out.

“A BIG FAT NO! Gosh, I was expecting so much but this is so sad. They look like they’re going to a funeral. There’s NO energy or passion involved. Rocco’s Vogue China is boring and sad,” Bertrando3 critiqued.

“So lackluster. The cover itself is abysmal. So beyond lifeless and completely devoid of energy. Not exactly the best way to celebrate a group of ‘newcomers’ into the modeling world,” vogue28 voiced.
