The moment we’ve been anticipating since November 2024 is finally upon us: Vogue World: Hollywood. This year, on October 26, Vogue will remain stateside, having selected sunny Los Angeles for its latest extravaganza. The splashy and buzz-worthy showcase is set to “celebrate the rich conversation between film and fashion, centring the most inspiring characters in cinema history.” The fashion and film tribute will take place on the Paramount Pictures Studios Lot in Hollywood – one of the oldest film studios in the world. Scheduled to perform on Sunday are Doja Cat and Gracie Abrams, with VIP attendees including names like Nicole Kidman, Rina Sawayama, and Miley Cyrus. Should last year’s Vogue World: Paris event be anything to go by, we’re in for an absolute treat.

The inaugural Vogue World event in 2022 conquered New York, complete with an open-air runway parade, and an army of top models parading a cobblestone street (situated in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district). The spectacle crossed the pond for London. The one-night event masterminded by Anna Wintour benefited performing arts organizations across the city, including The National Theatre, the Royal Opera House, the Rambert dance company and The Royal Ballet. In 2024 Wintour took things to Paris, to the historic setting of the Place Vendôme, to be exact. The event merged fashion and sport (ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games), with the theme of French fashion from every decade since 1924.
