Whitney Leavitt Suggests Possible Departure

Why Whitney Leavitt Has “No Shame” Using MomTok to Get on ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Whitney Leavitt might be moving away from reality TV.

In fact, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star—currently playing Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway—has hinted at possibly saying goodbye to the Hulu series to focus on her other interests.

“I’m figuring it out in real time,” Whitney told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published March 16. “We’re figuring it out together, but it feels like that’s the trajectory of where it’s going.”

“I wouldn’t be where I am without it,” she continued, “but it feels like it’s time to challenge myself in other ways and fulfill these dreams and passions that I’ve been trying to pursue even before the show.”

As the 32-year-old explained, she has “always been a performer” even before her appearance on SLOMW.

And the Dancing With the Stars alum hopes for more opportunities to showcase her performing skills in the future, adding, “I love entertaining, I love acting, so that’s what I can tease. Hopefully more films you’ll see me in.”
