The 2026 schedule for Marvel Studios is about to begin, but not in theaters, as the next Marvel Cinematic Universe release will premiere on Disney+. The Multiverse Saga has only a few TV shows remaining in the MCU timeline before Phase 6 concludes, with the next series focusing on a new hero for the franchise.

Wonder Man is set to premiere in less than a week, and critics have started to share their reviews and early impressions of the MCU drama. As reactions roll out, the Phase 6 series has received its official Rotten Tomatoes score, with Wonder Man debuting at 92%.

As reviews continue to emerge, the Critics’ Score on Rotten Tomatoes is subject to change at the time of this publication. The audience score for the MCU series will be available after its launch on Disney+.

However, if the score remains unchanged, it will be as critically acclaimed as WandaVision (92%), Loki season 1 (92%), and Hawkeye (92%). The highest-rated MCU show is still Ms. Marvel, with a near-perfect score of 98%.

In ScreenRant’s review of Wonder Man, Ben Gibbons praised the show for its ability to prove that just because a story is set in a world with superpowers, it doesn’t make it any less impactful. He also noted that this is a drama infused with comedy and action, delving into the psyche of a man striving to achieve his dreams.

The Wonder Man TV show stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, marking his latest comic book role after portraying Black Manta in the DCEU and playing Doctor Manhattan in HBO’s Watchmen. The MCU drama also features Sir Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery, with Shang-Chi and Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s Destin Daniel Cretton serving as co-creator and executive producer, alongside Andrew Guest as head writer.

Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man will release all eight episodes on Tuesday, January 27, at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT, exclusively on Disney+.
